Nothing on this website is a diagnosis, and nothing here is a substitute for veterinary advice. The pages describing conditions and treatments are written to help you understand what you may be seeing and what care can involve. They are general information, not advice about your individual pet.

Your veterinarian diagnoses and manages your pet’s medical condition. If your pet is unwell, call them. If the signs are urgent, sudden loss of back-leg function, inability to stand, loss of bladder or bowel control, or severe pain, that is a call today.

We write these pages carefully and review them, but medicine moves and websites lag. Nothing here is guaranteed to be current, complete or applicable to your pet. Where we describe research, we say plainly how settled we believe the evidence to be.

No outcome is promised anywhere on this site. Rehabilitation can help a great many pets; it does not help every pet, and no honest practice would say otherwise.
