Dr Broadhurst is amazing at canine rehab. My dog had significant leg surgery and was having difficulty getting back on all four legs. I searched around for a place with an underwater treadmill as well as electrical modalities such as laser and muscle stimulation. Although the location was an hour from where I live ( I live up towards Gainesville) it was most definitely worth the drive. She knows her stuff! The kindness and patience she shows is fantastic. Her overall knowledge of animals is amazing. She explains what is happening and why and the best way to treat it. She has a great sense of humor and was fun to spend time with. I would most definitely recommend Rehab 4 Pets to anyone wanting to give their pets better quality of life.

I took my border collie that competes in herding to see Dr. Broadhurst after his gait changed, and was hesitant to go his full speed, go in a specific direction, and just overall just off. After weeks of uncertainty, and no clear answers from veterinary exams and X-rays, we were honestly feeling stuck with Cruz’s injury. No one could tell us what was wrong or how to help him recover. Within about 20 minutes of seeing her, she was able to pinpoint the exact muscle involved and clearly explain what was going on in his body. For the first time, we had a real understanding of the issue and a plan forward. Not only that, she was able to tell me how to further support him at home between his sessions, both physically and nutritionally. Her treatment made a real difference in Cruz’s recovery. He’s back to herding to his full potential and thriving in our active lifestyle with no issues. We now continue to see her quarterly for adjustments and maintenance, just to ensure everything is functioning as it should, and it’s a plus that Cruz loves her. She is incredibly knowledgeable about canine anatomy and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes sense. Beyond that, she’s always available to answer questions in depth and genuinely cares about helping Cruz be as healthy as possible in every way. We learn something new every time we see her! My Australian shepherd Chantz suffered an accident while trying to jump onto the bed back in July of 2025. I immediately took him to the emergency vet and they had little hope that he would make it as he was paralyzed in his back half. Chantz had made no progress and within a couple of days I took him to his primary vet who also said it is very unlikely he will ever walk again. After extensive research I found Rehab 4 pets. Dr. Broadhurst and her team are the best. From his first appointment she was very optimistic that he would be able to walk again. Within 6 months Chantz went from being completely paralyzed in his back legs to being able to walk and play with his Aussie brother. I cannot recommend Dr. Broadhurst and Rehab 4 pets enough!

I have had the pleasure of working with Michele Broadhurst on many occasions while practicing equine medicine, she is an extraordinary practitioner for many reasons, first and foremost she knows and understands equine medicine, she understands horsemanship and handling need to do her profession and you can automatically she the horses respond to her physically and mentally, she understands equine anatomy and physiology and how all systems work together not just the areas she works on, she is excellent at lameness

I have had a great experience using Michelle for my mare. She was showing signs of lameness in the front that seemed undiagnosable. I spent many days with my vet trying to find the lameness issue. My girl is getting older, she will be 14 this year. I thought for sure her career was coming to an end. I had used an animal chiropractor before but didn’t firmly believe in it. At last resort my vet recommended Michele Broadhurst. I was blown away with her findings. I went from losing a season in barrel racing to traveling to New York for my first time and winning a division just four weeks later. I am forever grateful for Michelle in the work she has done for my mare.
I feel as though Michelle treated my mare with the same concern she would her own. My mare is not usually comfortable with new people working on her and she felt right at home. Michelle is an experienced horseman and really knows her stuff. In fact she will see her again Friday!

Oh where do I begin!!!!
Drifter was having so many issues with being off and on lame, sitting on his water bucket and pooping in it, as well as not picking up his right lead. After a few adjustments he was working way better then I ever imagined he would and progressed a lot in just a few months! Rumble was dive bombing the second barrel plowing it over, which he never has done in the past! This is when I first met Michele it was the morning of a barrel race we had already ran for the day but, after he was adjusted that week he was much more forward and willing to be round, that following weekend we went to a race he ran his fastest time and our first 17.9 second run!!!!

Owning a riding facility I have had many people come to my barn with options that would help our horses. A horse that is comfortable will do so much more in their work. Owning a barn I need effective professionals that can help my boarders horses, as well as help keep my hard working school horses happy and comfortable.
Michele has been 100% instrumental in the well being and comfort of our horses.
Being in a training, boarding, lesson program at our farm, we have a huge range of breeds and riding levels, competing up the levels in Dressage and Eventing. With no exaggeration, ALL the horses that Michele has performed chiropractic manipulation with, has come out their next time out with obvious improvements.
Whether the horse is a bulky draft, sensitive Thoroughbred, or an upper level Warmblood, the results can be seen with in the next day or two. The horse comes back to work visibly better and the horses truly looks SO much better.
We had 4th level Oldenburg that was so tight and looked uneven, we thought we had to inject him thinking his stifle, hock or back.
After his adjustment, this horse could TURN left… in front of the riders leg around and looked so loose and even.
We had a big bulky spotted draft that was uneven, tripped and every time the cantered was asked he would buck into like he couldn’t co- ordinate his legs.
After one adjustment, this Spotted Draft, has cantered both ways showing so much looseness and is on his way to bring his rider to the next level.
Theses are two ends of a spectrum of two horses of the many horses that have benefited from effective chiropractic adjustments.
Every horse Michele sees at my farm, she takes an honest evaluation, watches all horses move. Then discusses the horses work, and will explain what she is working on. Michele also gives suggestions for tack and fit. She gives excellent exercises for the rider and horse that are individual for each horse.
I truly have to say, I know there are many factors to many horse issues. Michele is someone I really respect, she has the educational background and through her work she had done and the progress our horses have visibly made, she totally gained our farms trust.
I feel so thankful to have such a knowledgeable professional that has great insight for the health and comfort of our equine friends. I am happy to reiterate the many insightful and positive outcomes Michele has had on our four legged friends!
